The Process
You enter your business address. Our system validates it against official UK address databases, extracts the postcode, and begins gathering verified data about your commercial property.
We cross-reference your address with the EPC Register for non-domestic properties, confirming the building type, floor area, current energy rating, and tenure status. Residential properties are automatically identified and redirected to our homeowner platform.
Our assessment engine analyses your property's roof characteristics using satellite imagery and geospatial data to determine usable area, orientation, and shading factors.
The engine processes multiple data layers including aerial imagery, roof geometry modelling, and UK Met Office solar irradiance data for your specific location. Regional solar yield factors are calibrated to your postcode area, accounting for latitude, typical cloud cover, and local climate patterns.
Using your property's energy profile, the engine designs an optimally sized solar system matched to your actual consumption patterns.
If you connect your smart meter (MPAN), we model your half-hourly demand profile including peak hours, base load, and seasonal variation. This allows us to maximise self-consumption and minimise grid export. Without smart meter data, we use verified EPC energy consumption figures and sector-specific demand profiles built from thousands of UK commercial installations.
The engine generates a complete 25-year financial model comparing your current energy costs against both PPA and outright purchase options.
Grid cost projections use a 5% annual escalation rate based on BEIS historical data. PPA savings are calculated against a fixed rate for the full 25-year term. The system automatically determines whether your installation requires G98 notification or G99 application based on system capacity and DNO region, and provides estimated approval timelines.

Every assessment draws on official UK government data including the EPC Register, MCS installation records, DNO connection standards, and Met Office climate data. No synthetic or estimated data is used where real data is available.

Data Security
We take data security seriously. All data processing happens within UK-based infrastructure, and we never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent.
All infrastructure runs in UK data centres (London, europe-west2). Your property data never leaves the country.
All data is encrypted using TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Smart meter data is processed and never stored beyond your session.
